48 hours in Las Vegas

Sin City, The City of Lights, The Entertainment Capital of the World… Las Vegas is on everyone’s bucket list andย attracts some 42 million visitors each year. With its enormous hotels, gigantic casinos and its buzzing nightlife, Vegas isย one of America’sย biggest party capitals. Only got two nights to explore? No problem – here’s my list of must see’s and my guide on how to make the most of your time in the city…

Check out the hotels

The hotels in Vegas are like mini cities. I’m not even joking. They are separate resorts within their own rights and they are HUGE! I couldn’t grasp the size of them until I went into four or five consecutively, and then wandered around them all in awe. It’s like being in a gigantic shopping mall and never being able to find the exit. Each time you think you’ve seen it all there’s something else to discover!

#Vegas seems like forever ago now!! What a place ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ @contiki @statravel_uk #contiki #noregrets

Favourites of mine were The Venetian – who doesn’t love a little bit of Venice in Vegas?! – The Mirage – actual real life dolphins in the garden #saywhaaaaattt – and The Bellagio – those fountains are amazing! I stayed at the Harrahs during my time in Vegas and it was fab, it wasn’t as big as some of the others but there were casinos, bars, restaurants and shops aplenty. I would have loved to visit Caesar’s Palace and The Luxor whilstย I was there but I just didn’t have the time, there are too many to try and squeeze in but if you are staying for a few days thenย you must try to visit them all!

Vegas can get INCREDIBLY hot, especially during the summer months, so some respite in the hotel air-con systems is welcome especially when walking around during the day. The heat is so intense, it’s like nothing I’ve ever experienced before,ย I’d liken it to standing in an oven, I literally was BAKING. If you can deal with the dry, desert like heat then you’ll be fine, but I was so sick on my first night I just wanted to jump into an ice bucket and cry!

Gamble in the casinos

It’s the classic bucket list item – gamble in a casino – TICK! I went to a good few casinos during my stay although I wish I had the time to gamble properly! I don’t really know what I’m doing when I’m gambling, I just kind of play along and hope for the best, but I would have loved to have moved on from the slot machines and tried my hand at poker or craps!

Flashing lights and big screens can only mean one thing… It's a #Vegas #casino! ๐ŸŽฐ๐ŸŽฐ #TravelTuesday #lasvegas

There are sooo many casinos in Vegas, you could go round each of the hotels just visiting each casino without even seeing the individual ones on the main strip! Gambling is so huge in Vegas, embrace it and have fun but remember to gamble responsibly while you’re away.

Go to a pool party

This is a must if you love sunbathing, dancing to club tunes and socialising with randomers! You’ll make friends with people you’ve only just met and you’ll spend way too much money on alcohol but you’ll have a blast, I promise! I went to one of the biggest pool parties in the city during my time in Vegas – Wet Republic at MGM Grand is one of the hottest places on the pool party scene so I was so excited to be attending! Be aware though that prices are sooo over the top at pool parties – you’ll easily pay over $18 dollars for a drink and at least $10 for a bottle of water, it’s crazy but I guess that’s how they make their money and it’s such an exclusive place you’ll feel likeย a VIP when you’re there, it’s all about the experience!

When in #Vegas a pool party is a must! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ‘™

A post shared by Jess Buck|JourneyswithJessica (@jessica16_x) on Jun 9, 2016 at 4:33pm PDT

*TOP TIP* – there are often promo guys stood near to the entrance of Wet Republic offering reduced or free entry to the pool party – snap up the free wristbands and save on entry charges so you don’t have to pay on the door! Alternatively have a look on Instagram or Twitter for promo people using the #wetrepublic or #vegas hashtags and they should be able to sort you out with free tickets.

Watch a Cirque Du Soleil show

You can’t go to Vegas and NOT see a Cirque Du Soleil show – it’s one of the most iconic shows in the world and where better place to watch it than in Sin City itself?! There are a variety of different shows to watch, from The Beatles Love show to the magical Mystere show, but I opted for the O show at The Bellagio Hotel.

Watching a Cirque Du Soleil show in #Vegas – TICK! โœ… ๐ŸŽช#bucketlist #traveltuesday #cirquedusoleil

A post shared by Jess Buck|JourneyswithJessica (@jessica16_x) on Aug 9, 2016 at 2:05am PDT

The whole thing was incredible from start to finish – each dancer, acrobat, performer and presenter gave 110% and I was blown away by what I saw. During the show part of the stage gave way to water and then all of a sudden the stage transformed into a pool and there were water stunts and splashes a plenty! The show made me laugh, made me stop and stare and, at times, left me totally speechless. Tickets weren’t cheap, I thinkย I paid around $120 for a seat but it was so worth it and I’d encourage anyone to attend a Cirque show when in Vegas!

Head over to Fremont Street

I have to admit I’d never even heard of Fremont Street when I rolled into Vegas but I am SO glad I visited this place during my time in the city. Fremont Street is everything you think Vegas would be, but it’s just on a smaller scale without the skyscraper hotels! Think bright lights, street entertainment, people zip-wiring across the fake ceiling (yes, really) and bars and casinos on every corner.

Fremont Street was super cool, I literally only had a couple ofย hours to check everything out and most of that time was spent inside one of the casinos, but by wandering around properly you’ll get a true taste of the area and can fully submerge yourself in the old school Vegas spirit! If I ever return to Vegas I’ll definitely make sure I spend more time in this place.

So there we go, my top tips on exploring Vegas in a whirlwind 48 hours! There’s so much to see and do in this city that you’ll need more than two days to get the full Vegas experience, but hopefully this round up points out the must sees and dos and helps with that all important planning!

Have you ever been to Vegas? Tell me what you thought of it, I’d love to hear your comments!

Love Jess x

Product review: Collaborating with Cheerz

Hi everyone,

As part of my job as a blogger I often get contacted by companies asking to promote their products/services on my website and social channels and, before I went away to Americaย in June, I was approached by ย Cheerz, a unique photo printing company, to review some of their photography products. Being an avid selfie-taker/spot-a-photo-op-anywhere-and-everywhere kinda gal I absolutely JUMPED at the chance to collaborate with them, and get my hands on some of their fab products!

About the brand

In case you haven’t heard of them before, Cheerz are an online photo printing service turning your phone snaps into cute little prints in just a few clicks. They offer a whole host of cool and quirky products, from fridge magnets and posters to classic prints and Polaroid’s, all of which can be printed and ordered onsite, orย via the Cheerz app,ย in a matter of minutes.

cheerz.png

I was asked to choose two products to review and promote on my site so I opted for the fridge magnets and the Cheerz box; 30 Polaroid prints in a cute little carry case. I actually chose to wait until after I returned from my America trip last month as I knew I’d have TONNES of photos that I wanted to print!

The ordering process

Ordering your prints couldn’t be easier, especially if you have a smartphone or a tablet and you’ve downloaded the free app from the app store. I actually used my phone to order the products, but I used the internet site instead of the app as I have no storage on my phone to download another app!! Sort it out Jess..

Anyway, as I said, the ordering process was super quick and easy and I was able to sort my prints out in a matter of minutes. It helps if you know which photos you want to print before you start the process, as I had to go back and forth on my camera roll a few times, but it doesn’t take long at all to start uploading. Depending on what product you choose, you can select and upload a set amount of images to print and can then add text to the imageย if you wish. Once you’ve added to your basket you can select your delivery method (standard or express) and then, once payment is made, your order will be processed and your products will be on their way to you!

The products

I was so impressed with the products I received, they were great quality and looked fantastic! The polaroid prints were super cute and I loved the glossy finish on each one. I’m planning to hang up a map of America on my wall and pop the polaroid’s on there, one on each state that I visited! Polaroid’s are a really great way of printing photos and they’d make a lovely gift to someone.

The magnets were also adorable and the square box finish to each one was quirky and really makes them stand out on the fridge. The quality is great and I love that they come in boxes of nine, perfect when arranging them in a square style! Again, these would make a really unique present for your friends and family and I’d 100% recommend them.

As well as magnets and Polaroid’s, Cheerz also offers classic 6×4 prints, photo strips, invitations, wall posters, a range of photo albums and a DIY photo book. I actually ordered the DIY photo book separately for my parents recent Silver Wedding Anniversary gift and they loved it! I printed the Polaroid’s and stuck them in the book, adding my own little comments as I went.ย Mum & Dad loved the book and it’s something they’ve never received before – such a cute little gift!

DIY photo book

The service

I couldn’t fault the service I received from Cheerz, both orders I placed were seamless and stress-free and the products arrived within 2-4 days using standard delivery. You can pay extra for express next day delivery if you’re short on time, but otherwise the standard delivery is pretty speedy!

Cheerz send you emails regularly to update you on your order; they send a confirmation of your order, a notification once the product has been dispatched, and then a follow up one to make sure you received your product ok. They are big on their social channels and can be contactable easily by Twitter/Facebook etc if need be, otherwise their email responses are pretty speedy as well.

Promo.. A little gift for YOU!

Now that I’ve received my lovely products I thought I’d share a little treat with you all – something for me, something for you, right?! That’s right, I have a snazzy discount code to share with you so that you can save some money on your Cheerz orders! Head over to their site, or the app, place your order and enter the code JESS75 at the check out to receive ยฃ4 off your order*! Don’t sayย I don’t treat you ๐Ÿ˜‰ย ย  (*minimum spend of ยฃ8)

A big thank you to Cheerz for allowing me to collaborate with you – I love the products and will highly recommend them to my readers, followers and my friends and family! You definitely put the fun factor back into photo printing!

Have you ever used Cheerz before? Are you going to use them now that I’ve given you a cheeky discount code?! Let me know – I’d love to hear from you and see your prints!

Love Jess x

NB. As you can probably tell, I was sponsoredย by Cheerz for this post and was sent the complimentary products to review and promote but all views are my own.

Just ordered my first set of retro prints off @cheerz – thanks guys! Product review coming soon on the blog! ๐Ÿ“ธ

Seven Things To Take With You on Contiki!

Hey y’all!

Sorry, I’ve defo turned more American since I’ve got back from the States… I NEED TO START BEING MORE BRITISH! As you all know, my recent Contiki Grand Southern American adventure was like totes amaze (is that British enough?!) and I had a ball, but one thing I wish I knew before I went is what on earthย to bloody pack for 28 days on the road! I’ve had so many messages from fellow travellers, bloggers and friends asking what items I took, what clothes I wore and what shoes I packed. Now that I’m home I thought I should share my new found wisdom with you all in the hope that it may help those looking to book a Contiki trip, or any other kind of long-haul month long vacation, when it comes toย those packing dilemmas!

1. Take a goddamnย neck pillow – ESSENTIAL!!!

I literally cannot stress how important this is, and how much I relied on this thing EVERY SINGLE DAY whilst on tour! This neck pillow literally saved my life, well ok it didn’t save my life but you know what I mean, it was that good it has to be top of this list.. So I made the mistake of NOT buying one of these before I went (don’t do it people) and spent my 11 hour flight from London to LA being stupidly uncomfy and wishing I had bought one of the neck pillows that everyone on my flight had! Luckily BA were on hand to give me a tiny baby pillow but it just wasn’t the same.. thanks tho guys, you tried ๐Ÿ˜‰

Anyways, I couldn’t wait for my first Walmart stop so I could run in and pick up a pillow and I was so relieved to find one at our first stop for the tiny sum of just $9 – best $9 I’ve ever spent! I can fall asleep literally anywhere, but it sure does help when you’ve got one of these round your neck and you’re sitting/sleeping on uncomfy bus seats for up to 9 hours a day! Don’t do whatย I did and forget to take it with you though.. pack it before you go and I promise you’ll be using it every single day!

2. Use a wheely suitcase, not a backpack!

Okay this is an absolute must – I cannot deal with backpacks and I’ve never attempted to carry one in my life BUT a wheely suitcase is sooo much more practical for Contiki and 99% of my tour-mates thought the same (see, I’m not alone). The suitcases are off and on the bus every day, shoved underneath in the storage space and then pushed into hotel room after hotel room for 28 days – poor things – but it’s so much easier to move them around when they are on WHEELS! They make such a difference and, although I still struggled cos I’m tiny, I know having my suitcase was ten times easier than trying to hoist a backpack around 24/7. Trust me – suitcases FTW.

If you’re not sure what bag to take during the day I’d recommend a decent sized rucksack that you can just shove on your back and carry around with you. I found this helpful during the days when I was taking water bottles, food and sunscreen etc with me but during the evenings I’d bring a small over the shoulder bag or a clutch bag depending on where we were heading off to!

We're going on a #riverwalk โš“๏ธ #Savannah

A post shared by Jess Buck|JourneyswithJessica (@jessica16_x) on Jun 29, 2016 at 12:22pm PDT

3. Bring sensible footwear

Thank God for Primark! I took two pairs of cheap canvas shoes with me and they were a godsend – I was able to walk around Vegas, hike in the Grand Canyon and stroll around Savannah in these lil beauties without my feet blistering to high heaven. At the end of the trip I chucked my shoes away as 1) I didn’t need them again and 2) they were damn filthy! I’d also recommend taking flip flops/sandals with you for beach days and the long bus days when all you wanna do is kick off those shoes. I actually bought two pairs of flip flops at our various supermarket stops (love youย Walmart) they were the comfiest things ever and an absolute steal at just 98 cents each! Say whaaattt…

Trekked halfway down to the canyon and then back up again today ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿƒ @contiki #grandcanyon #USA #noregrets

A post shared by Jess Buck|JourneyswithJessica (@jessica16_x) on Jun 11, 2016 at 3:50pm PDT

One thing I also wish wish wish that I bought with me was a pair of HEELS! Girls, you’re going to want to take at least one pair with you as you’ll get plenty of opportunity to wear them on the trip. On the Grand Southern we partied in places like Vegas, Miami and New York and, although I had nice dresses to wear and I did my make up and hair, I felt sooo under dressed in my Primark sandals!! It wouldn’t matter so much if you were a normal height and not conscious about being under 5ft but this is me we’re talking about and I am TINY so, naturally, I wish I took just one pair of heels with me to give me a bit of height! It isn’t essential and clubs generally didn’t look at what you were wearing on your feet but, if I could do it again, I’d def take some heels to make me feel more glam!

Miami rooftops ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ #saturdaynight

A post shared by Jess Buck|JourneyswithJessica (@jessica16_x) on Jun 25, 2016 at 10:41pm PDT

4. Remember your evening wear

This is juuuust as important as your day wear – okay so you’re going to be spending more time wearing your tops, shorts, skirts etc but your night time wear isย crucial depending on where you are going! As I mentioned above, on the Grand Southern we clubbed in Vegas and Miami where the dress code is super strict; boys – you won’t get let in wearing trainers or flip flops! Girlsย can pretty much wear anything but mostย wear dresses or skirts and tops whilst boys are encouraged to wear tops/shirts (not tank tops) and generally speaking trousers rather than shorts. The clubby places were strict about their dress code but most of the other cities we visited, like Durango,ย Savannah, New Orleans and Dallas,ย are much more relaxed so you can kinda wear whatever you want!

5. Take a credit card & a photo identification card

Probably essential to bring your ID card with you (driving license only) as you’re not going to be wanting to carry your passport everywhere you go! If you’re buying alcohol remember that America operates a strict over 21 policy so you won’t be served or allowed entry to any clubs/pubs if you aren’t over this age limit. Again, it depends where you go but we experienced this and they were pretty strict with everything – rules are rules, right?!

Ahhh my last day at home before my big American adventure tomorrow!! โœˆ๏ธ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ@contiki #noregrets

A post shared by Jess Buck|JourneyswithJessica (@jessica16_x) on Jun 6, 2016 at 4:27am PDT

A credit card was essential for me – it totally helped when I extended my stay and paid ยฃ471 in airline fees for the privilege!!! (I wouldn’t recommend doing that btw). In all seriousness though, credit cards a really useful thing to take with you. Depending on who you bank with you can use them like you would do at home and you don’t normally incur charges either. I took a prepaid card with US Dollars but also took my UK credit card for emergencies; I knew it would come in handy in case any of my money got lost or stolen (or in case I gambled it all in Vegas..) or if I was in a sticky situation and just needed more money. As credit cards are separate from your current account/debit card/pre paid card they are really handy to take with you, even if you don’t need to use it it’s nice to know it’s there just in case.

6. Bring at least one jacket/coat

I guess this depends on the destination(s) you’re travelling to, or the season you’ll be away for, but it really is useful to take at lease one form of jacket/coat with you! I was boiling hot in Vegas but flipping freezing during the evening at the Grand Canyon the next day and wish I had something to keep me warm, although I did take a thin hoody which kind of helped (almost). When we were in Savannah there was the thunderstorm of the century and we got soaked all the way through so I was glad my pac-a-mac came in handy! If you’re travelling across the States be prepared for ALL types of weather – it couldย be beautiful sunshine one minute and then pouring with rain the next, depending on where you are of course!

7. Take a camera!

I normally wouldn’t ever travel without taking a camera anyway as I LOVE taking photos of just about anything, but having one on Contiki is a must! There are sooo many photo ops, from famous landmarks and tourist attractions to the incredible optional extras and even silly selfies on the bus with your new friends! Lots of people on my tour were really into their photography and had expensive cameras with their kits and tripods, but I just took my digital camera and my iPhone and flitted between the two when I was taking my snaps. Don’t forget your SD card(s) and your chargers though!

When my cameras in my hand that's all I need ๐Ÿ“ธ #Vegas #america #USA #contiki #grandsouthern #noregrets

A post shared by Jess Buck|JourneyswithJessica (@jessica16_x) on Jul 24, 2016 at 8:34am PDT

So there we have it, my top tips on what to pack for Contiki! Obviously you’ll need to remember the basics like toiletries, any medication, sunscreen etc (duh), money (bring lots) and your travel documentation including your visas, ESTAs, passports and insurance stuff (goes without saying). Maybe invest in a US sim card as well for your phone as it can get ridiculously expensive contacting home unless you stick to the freeย WiFi! Once you’ve packed these items along with the other essentials you should be just about ready to jet off on your new adventure- eeeek! To anyone that’s going in the next month/year/decade I am INSANELY JEALOUS and might just book myself on another trip pronto…

Hope this helps a little, if any of you have found this list useful/insulting or if you just generally have any comments at all please do pop them in the box below – I’d love to hear what you took/are thinking of taking on Contiki!

Love Jess x

NB. Please remember that I visited America during the middle of summer when I did my Contiki tour, but if you’re travelling around Europe, Asia or Australia, or you’re travelling during autumn or winter as opposed to spring or summer, you’ll need to pack according to the weather and local climate! I’m sure you knew that though ๐Ÿ˜‰

Hi guys, part three of my Contiki trip is here!

After we left Orlando we visited three other cities in the state of Florida before makingย our way down to Georgia, Charleston and Raleigh. We’ve had a hectic week exploring lots of different places; highlights have included parasailing on Daytona Beach and hopping on a thriller speed boat ride in Miami! Here’sย how the past few days have turned out…

Miami

I'm in Miami bitchhh! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐ŸŽ‰ #noregrets #grandsouthern #miami

I was sooo looking forward to reaching Miami as it’sย somewhere I have always wanted to goย and I certainly wasn’t disappointed! We spent time on the famous Miami beach swimming in the sea, checking out theย trendy range of bars, shops and restaurants and hitting up some of the many clubs dotted around thisย iconic city. We also went on a thriller speed boat ride across Biscayne bay and ventured out to Star Island where we saw the homes of famousย A-listers including Brad Pitt,ย  Jennifer Lopez and Sylvester Stallone. Miami was incredible and I would go back in a heart beat!

Daytona Beach

Another day another beach ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐ŸŒŠ #daytona

We made our way to Daytona after spending two nights partying it up in Miami so it was a welcome break when we were able to chill out on the beach and soak up some sun! We ventured down the promenade, visited the arcades and rides, hit the shops and also had a little movie night down at the local cinema. My absolute highlight was parasailing along the beach; being hoisted 600ft up in the air, cruising along with the waves lapping down below and watching dolphins swimming in the distance – possibly one of the best thingsย I have ever done in my life!

St Augustine

Ah this place is so beautiful!! I didn’t expect much from this little town at all, but St Augustine has been one of my favorite locations on the tour so far! We explored the historic fortress, cobbled streets and old buildings during our short stay and it was one of the most picturesque places I have ever been to. For those of you who like Spain or anywhere with a Mediterranean vibe, this is the place for you- it really is beautiful!

After our stay-over we made our way to Savannah via the Kennedy Space Centre and stopped to explore NASA HQ for a while! The centre was interactive, informative and so interesting and we certainly saw some iconic space sights during our day there – we loved going to infinity and beyond!

Savannah

Much like St Augustine,ย Savannah turned out to be one of the highlights of my trip! We spent two nights in this beautiful city exploring the cobbled streets, local restaurants and bars and soaking up the Georgian history. We also took a ghost tour around the haunted streets of the city stopping at a couple of spooky sites to see if we could check out some paranormal activity. Savannah is a beautiful place and I’m thrilled to have spent two nights there exploring everything properly!

Charleston

This was one of my favourite spotsย but unfortunately we had barely any time at all to explore this little gem! Brimming with cute cafรฉ’s, shops, bars andย restaurants, the city’s harbour also boasts resident porpoises and other sea life. There was so much history and culture on offer in the city and I just wish we had the time to see more!

On our way back from Charleston we stopped at Magnolia Plantation & Gardens, home to America’s last large scale romantic style gardens. This is also the site where a number of slaves were kept during the slave trade in America and we learnt a lot about the history of this as well as exploring the beautiful gardens, local petting zoo and original house owned by the Drayton family.

Raleigh

We literally only had one night here in this little place and really didn’t get to explore much of it at all, but we did have dinner and check out the adventure land where we acted like big kids playing go karting, laser quest and mini golf! I’m not sure what there was to explore in Raleigh but it looked super cute.. answers on a postcard please!

I can’t believe that I’m now on the final stretch of this trip and in just a few days time it will all be over! I am having the time of my life and so don’t want to go home! My final few days will be recapped in part four of my blog and I’ll post this ASAP.

Speak soon!

Hey everyone!

Part two of my American adventure is here! Sorry about the wait but I’ve just been having too much fun to blog ๐Ÿ˜‰ Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been everywhere from New Orleans to Miami and I’ve had a blast! Here’s what I’ve been doing…

Fortworth/Dallas

Ah Texas you stole my heart! I absolutely loved my time in this state and Fortworth/Dallas were one of the highlights for me. We strolled around the western town of Fortworth and explored the historic stockyards before making a day trip to Dallas. We visited the Sixth Floor Museum, the site where the late president John F Kennedy was assassinated, and paid tribute to him at one of the many memorials around the city. We also visited the Dallas Cowboys football stadium for a private tour which was a fantastic experience and somewhere definitely worth stopping if your a sporting fan! There’s so much I haven’t seen of Texas and its one of my favourite states so I’ll definitely return one day!

After crossing the Mississippi river, stopping at Texarkana, and being in two states at the same time, we made our way towards the rock n roll city of Memphis, Tennessee. We toured Graceland, the home of Mr Elvis Presley, and visited Sun Studios where the likes of The King, Johnny Cash and Jerry-Lee Lewis recorded. We also hit up Beale Street for some epic nightlife and watched a minor league baseball game at the Memphis Redbirds Autozone Park. Memphis was such a vibrant city with so much to see and do; if you’re a music fan this is most definitely the place for you!

New Orleans

New Orleans was a funny place for me, I still don’t know how I feel about it and I’ve been thinking about this since I left there! It’s not that I didn’t enjoy myself, it’s just that I felt there wasn’t enough to see and do to make it stand out for me. I felt the whole place was hot, busy and slightly smelly but that may have been all the sewage problems! Having said that, I had a fantastic time alligator hunting on a swamp boat and enjoying some authentic jazz music down on French street!

We also explored the local flea market to pick up some bargains and saw the fairytale square of Jackson Square both at night and during the daytime. I may need to return to central New Orleans in order to get the most out of this city as we were staying in the downtown area, but I’d love to hear your thoughts or tips on how I can get the most out of any potential future visits! I also did an Instagram takeover for Travelex UK during my time in the city – head over and check out their Insta pageย to see my selection of photos!

Panama City beach

Panama City Beach was one of the hidden gems of Florida and I had a wonderful time with the most amazing view from the hotel room! We spent most of our time at the beach, having dinner and exploring some of the local shops. Panama was beautiful and I really could have done with one more night there!

Orlando

Orlando was one of the highlights for me, mainly because I went to the happiest place on earth!! For any of you that know me well enough, I’m the worlds biggest Disney fan and have been wanting to visit Walt Disney World for as long as I can remember. My dreams finally came true in Orlando and I spent 15 hours running around the parks like a child from dawn til dark! I watched the parades and the fireworks, went on tonnes of rides, ran around after characters and just soaked up the Disney atmosphere in full. I had the time of my life at Disney and can’t wait to go back one day! ๐Ÿ’–

After Orlando we ventured to other parts of Florida and have just been to Georgia for two nights checking out the charming city of Savannah! As you can tell, I’m a little behind on the blog posts but I’ll write again with part three ASAP.

Don’t forget you can still follow my adventure on snapchat @jessica16_x as well as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Until next time!
